Well that wasn’t as exciting as he hoped, but it took care of an evening at least.
Perhaps it was time to liven things up.
Unfortunately Panna only needed so much of his attention. Attempting to read The Ultimate Vampire Compendium, for the ten thousandth time, just made Vlad realize that over the centuries being immortal had become well…BORING.
He named her Panna.
Vlad scowled once returning home, clearly he’s begun to go batty in his old age. Maybe he was just lonely? After all it had just been himself in this giant manor for well over a century now, perhaps a new companion would help.
Finally gaining control of himself he let her fall gently to the floor. Unable to leave he kept vigil by her unconscious form until dawn; protecting her from unseen enemies, as if it wasn’t he who had done this to her.
The second her taste hit his tongue Vlad knew he had made a mistake; but he was unable to stop himself and fed from her voraciously.
