Absolutely! Major spoilers ahead so its under the cut, but here is where my game is currently and the kids born/adopted so far plus the plans for future ones:

The Behr family has a new addition.

The Bjergsens have two new bundles of joy coming up(only one of which is Clara’s).

Additionally the following households still have a certain number of pregnancies/adoptions left to fill:

Spencer-Kim-Lewis household: 1

Pancakes household: 1

Zest household: 3

Roomies household: 4

Free Spirits household: 3

Partihaus household: 2

Behr household: 2

Bjergsen household: 1

Benali household: 1

Pizzaz household: 3

Vatore household: 1

Hecking household: 1

Jeong household: 1

And that is of course not counting surprise pregnancies, alien pregnancies and adoptions which a few households also have that I’m going to keep secret for now 😉

do you think your game will be affected by the new ep coming out with the new townies?

It absolutely will! 

I’m pretty sure we’re getting at least 3 new premade households that I will definitely be adding to the rotation(for 32 households total!!!). If there are 3 households exactly it will put my rotation in sync with seasons and two years will pass each time through the entire rotation, so that’s cool.

Additionally the new careers etc… will be in play and up for grabs for anyone. 

All in all this is me about the new pack:

So I’ve been hinting at this a while that Caleb had someone VERY close to him that he lost and that somehow Vlad was involved in the whole thing. (As can be seen here, here and here)

Additionally Vlad and Caleb happen to have some similar paintings in their houses (hmmmmm [suspicious eyes]):

All of that was leading up to this moment(well and the rest of it tomorrow).

Basically Dina is definitely this woman’s doppelganger and very well could be her reincarnation.

How this will all work out with Caleb and Vlad?…we’ll see 😉

when you are referring to your setup, what do you mean when you talk about chance cards? and how do you determine which sim rolls which card?

Great question! I made a list of possible good and bad things that could happen to sims and then assigned them all number all into a table in an excel file that looks like this:

Each sim upon aging into Young Adult, Adult or Elder rolls between 1-55 for one of these. So that’s a total of at least 3 per lifetime, unless the death card is rolled of course. Additionally if I’m bored with a household or not sure where to take the story next I might roll for the household and then apply that card to a sim of my choosing.

Some examples of this we’ve seen in the stories:

Victor rolled an affair card to have Aron with Dina

Catarina Lynx has rolled both the loose job and gain money cards.

Jaques Villareal and Brent Hecking both rolled for alien pregnancy

Sergio Romeo rolled for a new career and switched from tech guru to secret agent

75% of the animals in the town were from adopt a pet chance card(I gave some houses some pets just because I wanted to as well haha)

Mitchell Kalani and Brant Hecking both rolled for the adopt a child card(this is important for later 😉 )

Ah ha whelp being super organized and very meticulous note taking are your friends in this kind of endeavor! 

A detailed explanation of my system under the cut cause I cant do anything simply.

Starting off each household is assigned a number, they are always this number and it is also the play order in rotation. So Spencer-Kim-Lewis household is #1 and that keeps going all the way to the Lynx household that is #29.

In addition to that each and every sim has been separated by generation and gender. So I have a table for Generation 1 female, Generation 1 male etc…

In each of these separate tabs I keep track of the following items for each and every sim(not counting pets):

  • Household Born in
  • Household lived in as an adult
  • Heir (Y/N)
  • First Name
  • Maiden Name
  • Last Name
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Traits
  • Bad trait modifier(if they roll three “good” traits I roll a bad trait for them that comes to play in their story somehow)
  • Grade as a Child
  • Grade as a Teen
  • Relationship Type (single, boyfriend/girlfriend, married @ YA or Married @ A)
  • Partner’s Name
  • Career path and branch
  • # of pregnancies/adoptions(for women and/or Gay sims)
  • Children’s names
  • Skills maxed
  • YA Chance Card (story elements rolled at each adult stage)
  • A Chance Card 

    (story elements rolled at each adult stage)

  • E Chance Card 

    (story elements rolled at each adult stage) 

Lastly I also keep track of each household and its members on my blog with links to each household’s story from the beginning which I check and reread prior to playing the household just to make sure I’m not forgetting anything.
